Pardon our Dust

The week of January 2, 2012, demolition will begin in the Field Lounge and the member services room. We are creating a Café in what is now the Field Lounge where you can enjoy a choice of premium coffees and meet with your friends. We also will have Wi-Fi capability, and in the future, cold snacks will be available. At the same time, we will convert the member services room to a permanent game room so that we can accommodate the increasing number of bridge players without having to use folding tables and chairs. The jigsaw puzzle will be moving to the library.We do not plan to close during construction so please bear with us on the days it gets a little noisy or dusty.Any questions, comments or concerns, please see Jill Sheffield.

Don't forget to renew your membership!

Minimum membership is $45 for the year, but it's the Foundation's Goal to raise $210,000 by January 31st through membership. We appreciate, as members are able, that they give above minimum membership to help reach this goal. Look for the goal thermometer inside Diment Hall. Watch as we climb toward the $210,000 goal for membership by January 31, 2012!

Birdies for Charity

Support the Foundation by guessing how many birdies will occur during the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am Golf Gournament takin gplace February 9-12, 2012 and win! The person who guesses correctly (belfore the contest ends on February 8) will winthe grand prize of two United Airlines tickets (up to $500 each) and one night stay at The Inn at Spanish Bay, Pebble Beach, and golf for two at The Links at Spnashi Bay. To play, make a pledge based on the total number of birdies made by PGA Tour Professinals during the Pro Am. AT&T PB Charities is offering The Carmel Foundation a matching gift of 15% above all donations received related to this event. For example, every pledge of $100 will result in a $115 donation to the Foundation.

The Carmel Foundation and Casa Di Campagna are partnered for The Crossroads Window Decorating for Charity event. If Casa Di Campagna’s window receives the most public votes, The Carmel Foundation will receive a $500 donation from The Crossroads.
