"I have so appreciated the meals you have provided at a time when I needed them."

Homebound Meal Program

The Homebound Meal Program now enters its fifth decade, having begun in 1959.  Members may be homebound or have other special circumstances which would make them eligible to receive delivery of these meals.

Four meals are available for delivery on Thursday mornings every other week.  While these meals are not intended to meet a full week’s nutritional requirements, instead they can provide a break to a care giver, or augment other meal services.

A dedicated group of Foundation volunteers deliver these meals to their fellow members and enjoy a visit at the time of delivery. The standard meal includes entree, soup and dessert.  The fee charged is $4.50. A sliding scale is available to members with limited financial resources.

    Helping Hands
“I want to let you know how much my mother adores your meals!  As the primary care giver, the meals are very helpful.  My mother is really a delightful advertisement for a tender sweet recipient of your made with love meals. Thank you kindly.”
