Richard Tette is a San Francisco Bay area native. He received his art education at the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, majoring in advertising and illustration. His early career was as an illustrator in the aerospace industry. During this time he also began painting and exhibiting his work both in regional and national competitions.
