María Isabel LeBlanc will present De la Luz, her photographic project documenting the often-overlooked agricultural region of North Monterey along Highway 1. De la Luz (of the light) refers to the luminous quality of light she experienced while photographing in the fields. Through landscapes and portraits, she explores a place rarely noticed yet rich in abundance.

Her work has been exhibited nationally, including at the Center for Photographic Art (Carmel). She is a recipient of the 2024 CPA Artist Grant and the 2024–2025 Rydell Visual Arts Fellowship.
