Set in June 1994 during a fictional radio interview on Boston’s KPLX, the story offers an intimate glimpse into Julia Child’s extraordinary life. Through humor, warmth, and storytelling, Julia reflects on her passion for cooking, her deep love for her husband Paul, and the remarkable journey that began in Paris and changed American kitchens forever.

Playwright Carol Marquart is known across the Monterey Peninsula for her compelling staged readings that bring iconic historical figures to life. Her past works have featured John Steinbeck, Mark Twain, Frank Lloyd Wright, Bette Davis, William Randolph Hearst, and even Rasputin.
